The marine transportation arm of Dongbang commenced in 1992 as the 4th POSCO gwangyang marine transportation company.
With a total of 11 private and chartered vessels, Dongabang has cut costs in distribution by dramatically reducing the operation stages via introduction of two RO-RO vessels, exclusively for steel freight, into the POSCO product transportation project. At the request from POSCO, a plate RO-RO vessel is currently being built.
Dongbang will further endeavor to contribute towards the development of the marine industry as a leader in 21st century.
